Blog back up and running
Posted by Cory Comer - 15/04/11 at 05:04:14 amAfter spending some this evening cleaning out a bunch of useless EC2 instances, backing up more loose data than I want to admit too, and going through the motions of setting up a new Ubuntu instance with a LAMP stack my blog is finally back up.
I went through my old posts and I’m debating on whether or not I should import those posts, vestiges of a antiquated era, or if I should let them die and start anew. I’m currently leaning towards just starting fresh; I am a nihilist after all. It would give me an opportunity to implement some of the taxonomical changes I’ve been wanting to make and hopefully provide some incentive to put more time and effort into writing quality content about the stuff I’ve been doing lately.
You can expect to see a good mix of politics, religion, philosophy, psychology, science, and of course technology. I’m going to try to start a nightly brain dump of whatever sort of topics have been kicking around in my head throughout the day, hopefully pertaining to those subjects in particular.
I’d also like to experiment with several new SEO practices I’ve picked up recently. I’ve never really put much energy into promoting my personal blog, but I think I may change that. It seems the first question people ask after meeting these days is whether or not you’re actively involved in the community.
Here’s to keeping on top of things and actually posting, yay?!
